Relief process

Clean and Place in the General area

Hole 5 fairway - clean and place relief of 1 club length

as per Model Local Rule E-3.

If a ball is lost or out of bounds, the alternative to stroke and distance is available.

as per Model Local Rule E-5.

Trees that are staked are deemed to be No Play Zones.

Free Relief must be taken as per Rule 16.1

Tree Roots: If a player's ball has interference from tree roots in the mown fairway, but interference does not exist if the tree roots only interfere with the player’s stance. There is no free relief for Tree roots in the rough, either play the ball as it lies or take unplayable relief.

Gardens are marked with blue stakes are deemed to be Ground Under Repair.  Free relief is available.

Drainage lines and Sand Slits:  If a player's ball in the general area has interference from a sand-filled or sunken drainage channel – This applies to swing and stance - Relief is compulsory.

This applies to holes 1 and 2, 5, 14 and 15 and penalty area on hole 11. You can take relief in the penalty area on hole 11 if you ball comes to rest on the drainage lines

Dropping zones:  If a ball is known or virtually certain to be in a penalty area on holes 11 and 13.

A provisional ball may be played from the drop zones on:

Hole 11 - it is located at the end of the path, and a provisional ball may be played before looking for your ball on the right-hand side of the fairway.

Hole 13 it is located on the other side of the water and can be used for ball entering the lake or the long grass and trees on the other side of the lake.

Relief may be taken as per Rule 17

The dropping zone is a relief area under rule 14.3.

Fairway distance markers in the fairway and on the side of the fairway – are immovable obstructions and are an Abnormal Course Condition (ACC)

Free relief under Rule 16.1a

Please take a sand bucket and repair your divots, repair your pitch marks and rake the bunkers.

Do not push or drive trundlers on the green’s collars or tees.
